Is Waiting After Miscarriage Necessary?

When a woman has a miscarriage she is sometimes encouraged to take a period of months to both mourn her loss and perhaps allow her body to recover. Even current World Health Organization guidelines recommend a six month waiting period before trying again. However, a new study published in the British Medical Journal seems to contradict that idea. Instead it offers new insight into how a woman can best increase her chances for a successful pregnancy after a miscarriage.
